Sweet Uruguayan Recipes: Step by step on how to prepare chajá cake cupcakes
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 120ml of oil
- 100g of sugar
- 200g of pastry flour
- 8g of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- Dulce de leche
- Peaches in syrup
- Whipped cream
- Meringues
Steps to the recipe:
1. Place the eggs and sugar in the mixer bowl and beat for about 10 minutes until you achieve a white, creamy mixture. Once this is done, add the oil and vanilla essence and beat until all the ingredients are well incorporated. Then, remove from the mixer.
2. Gradually, add the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix until everything is well integrated.
3. Place the cupcake liners in the mold and fill them until 3/4 are full.
4. Preheat the oven to 160°C-170°C. Once it reaches that temperature, bake the cupcakes for 15 to 20 minutes or until you insert a toothpick into the center of the cupcake and it comes out completely dry. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool.
5. Fill the cupcakes with dulce de leche and decorate them with whipped cream, peaches in syrup (previously cut into cubes) and meringues (previously cut into little pieces).
